JOB DESCRIPTION

工作职责
学科与专业建设
1. 学校教学策划,对教育教学的总体实施情况和效果进行监督并改进;
教学计划制订实施
1. 组织制定学校教学计划和实施,监控实施过程并组织改进。具体负责审核教学部老师的授课计划,组织开展教学工作,监督检查教学各环节的落实和执行情况;
2. 负责师资队伍建设的策划,组织和实施,监控实施过程和效果并进行改进。提出师资配置计划,协助组织教师的招聘工作。负责对教师的配备、使用、考核、晋升、聘用、奖惩、培养等提出具体意见;
组织管理
1. 负责教学过程的安全管理,拟定教学部工作计划和各教师的学期授课安排,组织教师开展相应的教研活动。教师教学工作的检查,不定期进班听课及检查学生的学习情况,促进教师间的相互交流,提高教学质量;
教学管理
1. 编制教学日历、教学进程表和课程表;
2. 落实师资配备;
3. 管理学生成绩、学籍档案;
4. 发放各种学历证明和证书;
5. 负责日常教学调度,统一安排全院教室的使用;
6. 简历管理教学档案、教师听课反馈,学生成绩档案;
7. 合理安排教师的授课,教研和休息时间,编制课表;
8. 负责处理教师的听课,调课,补课,代课等项工作;
9. 负责学校校历的制定及发布;
校外实训
1. 校外社区服务活动;
2. 学生游学,志愿者实践活动;
3. 学生公益活动和品格塑造活动;
4. 组织教学竞赛和观摩活动;
教材建设与供应
1. 负责学生教材采购工作的统筹管理;
2. 负责图书馆书籍的采购开展和管理;
3. 各教师负责本教室的教具采购审核;
教学改革与研究
1. 组织和实施教学部全员会议;
2. 负责全校的教学信息的收集和研究;
3. 教务处组织考试;
4. 组织教学评优和经验交流;
其他
1. 负责及时将开课开学情况通告给学校其他部门;
2. 注意掌握学生思想动态,及时反馈并提出加强思想工作的意见;
3. 保持与家长的定期沟通,确保家长了解学生在学校的一切动态;
4. 负责教育信息收集和管理工作,根据学校实际积极学习和推广先进的教学理念;
任职要求
1. 全日制统招本科及以上学历;
2. 3年及以上教学教务管理工作经验;
3. 组织计划能力突出,细节把控到位;
4. 责任感强,需主动承担、推进教务工作;
5. 英语八级或相当英语水平,英语语言沟通能力优秀,能与外籍教师无缝对接学科的专业知识;
6. 极强的跨文化意识、文化交流能力和冲突解决的能力;
SKILL SET REQUIREMENT
- Qualified to Bachelor of English or Appropriate degree;
- TEM-8/IELTS 7.5/TOEFL 105 or above,speak English fluently ;
- Preferred but not required qualities include relevant teaching experience or overseas study background.
- Preferred but not required qualities include familiarity of relevant overseas English tests.
- Be earnest, responsible, meticulous, patient with students;
- Creatively implement the established curriculum
- Highly developed collaborative leadership skills and the ability to work well with and through others;
- Have the enthusiasm and the interest for education.
Academic Vice Principal
- Responsible for staff development, including teacher admin and support, teachers’performance evaluation.
- Support HR on expat faculty recruitment.
- Support admissions and marketing department on student enrollment work.
- Responsible for students’discipline.
- In charge of student counselling.
- Conduct academic department faculty meeting every week.
- Required qualifications, experience and vision:
- A Master’s degree or Doctorate in the field of education.
- Qualified teacher status.
- An internationally recognized qualification in educational leadership.
- A minimum of fifteen years of school experience generally.
- A minimum five years of experience teaching or leading within a reputable American school.
- A minimum of five years’ experience as a principal or director overseeing a division of at least two hundred students.
- Experience in school administration directly or indirectly (budget management, HR, accounting etc.).
- Experience in educational settings catering for English as an additional language learners.
- A passionate, energetic and friendly disposition.
- High learning expectations for students and teachers.
- A flexible, open-minded person who lives our school’s mission and vision in daily practice.
- A collaborative team member who believes in and can practice distributed leadership, but who can make the ‘tough’ decisions when necessary.

- Making teaching plans, conducting teaching management and improving teaching methods;
- Teach ESL courses;
- Participate in training,lectures,meetings and orther activities organized by teaching department actively;
- Communicate with parents actively, and do a good job in home-school contact and feedback;
- Complete other work arranged by superior leaders.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creatively implement the established curriculum
- Select and plan appropriate learning and teaching activities that are in alignment with Meten Preparatory Academy;
- Exercise good classroom management with the use of fair and consistentstandards and appropriate sanctions that are clearly articulated to the students;
- Encourage students to confidently and freely ask questions;
- Know and use a wide range of assessment strategies consistent with course content and objectives;
- Provide reports on student progress and maintain open communication with ensuring that these reports are accurate and constructive;
- Differentiate instruction and assessment to meet the diverse needs of students;
- Identify students who need additional academic assistance and influence needed actions accordingly.
